RR, Digg and G-Force Update

Umm, RR is currently deaded. It looks like around 6:00am this morning we got Dugg, and on top of the additional traffic the Remakes 100 brought in of its own natural accord (which is a fucking lot) - it proved far too much for poor RR to take and it collapsed.

So, we’ve temporarily had to close it down whilst I go in to take some emergency measures until I’m in a better position to do something more drastic in the hardware department in a few weeks. Normal service of RR will resume soon enough.

G-Force is currently running uber late, I’ve been working on the Top 100 and a lot of under the bonnet stuff on RR for the past 4 days since getting back on the net and had a little something extra to do yesterday which had to take priority (it was set aside for the week before, but there were a few “technical hitches” that delayed it).

Good news is, as soon as I’ve had chance to chill the fuck out after an absolutely chaotic 4 days - the only thing left to do on G-Force is to merge a few files together, check there’s nothing gone fucked then its go. Something I had planned for the weekend but got foiled. Given I’m going to have to spend the rest of my waking time today sorting RR out, it won’t be today - but as soon as RR is up and stable and sorted I’ll put the last hour or so of work into G-Force and drop it out.

I’m a bit cunted off because I’m so fucking close and just haven’t had 5 minutes to work on it, never mind the hour or so it needs. Its not until you get kicked off the net for 4 days that you realise how much some of the site work on RR piles up.

    Damnation, I’ve just returned from my holls and was looking forward to seeing what’d happend in the last 5 days.
