An elvis gig?
Lord no! The Liverpool Lip in action
Fantastic night though, I’ve been trying to tumble down to a Classic! night for, well, 8 months so it was fab to be able to make it into town and catch one.
Wylie is still a fucking star after all these years and even allowing for a couple of McCartney related tunes still turned out the best gig I’ve caught in a long time.
Even if the cunt did nearly have me in tears finishing with Heart As Big As Liverpool and drifting into Joy Division’s Atmosphere as a tribute to Tony Wilson.
Way to get me every time.
