Sunday Linky Sunday

Ahoy there my hearties, some things that impressed me this week and are deserving of your attention.
Sub Pixel Message Generator - likely one of the most useless things in the history of development, but non the less darn fucking cool all the same.
One Switch Blog - Barrie’s blog gets a makeover. Also check out the link to the one handed controllers where design feedback is called for.
The Discovery of Milliways - Some rather personal insight into an acquired Infocom drive and playable builds of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy sequel that never was. Complete with bonus collection of various Infocom staffers, Michael Bywater, Anita Sinclair and the usual array of daft commentators. On one hand proof the internet is fantastic, and on the other, proof the internet can be a depressing place.
Ste Pickford discovers the scanner - and inexplicably, I had the most curious dream involving the character on display in this post last night. Obviously The Pickfords have discovered a way to tap into my deepest psyche. I’m scared.
Portishead in Portishead - I never thought I’d ever see a third album from Portishead. Wonderfully, it’s crucial listening too. If anyone watched the Later With Jools Holland performance - was I the only person to notice the look on everyone elses face as they performed? You’d think someone dropped an atom bomb in the studio. Glorious stuff.
Tim continues his quest to take over the blogosphere - Tim W’s “Best Of Indie” now on Gamasutra. Fabulous news for indie devs everywhere.
Retro Masters and the RR shop - self promotion? Moi?
Ovine branch out into the Mac world - Eagle eyed readers will note that the first release is their Dan Dare retro remake. Christ, I kill me… Eagle… gerrit?
Retrogamer launch their own blog - and the world trembles under the weight of CPC loving. Complete with obligatory Strider loving. (The arcade game, not the Half Life 2 beasties)
The Wild Bunch - C64 coder John Wells attempts to bring the Spectrum BASIC budget “classic” to the C64. An odd choice, but fair play to the man - it’s a worthy project.
Speak your brains

Thanks for the mention, Bob - looking nicely tarted up here too!
I was lucky enough to be at Jools Holland when Portishead played - yes - there was a “what the fuck was that” feeling from the audience. Brilliant!
http://hypem.com/search/portishead/1/ - loads to listen to here too…
Oh my! A retro gamer blog!
Barrie, you can colour me officially jealous!
