This article's advice is pure gold, everyone who assumes that it is sarcasm and doesn't follow it to the letter is a complete fool and clearly has no idea what they are doing.

I'm planning an MMO as my first game project. Like WOW (but with Starcraft 2 rolled in), only better. II will get 10 team members for free through forums, offering a profit-share system. Figure I can bash it out in a couple of months.

When it comes to the marketing, I will follow this excellent guide verbatim. Don't worry, I'll be sure to give you a kickback when the millions roll in!

Bob, thankyou for your very good tips.
I don't need your marketing advice yet - my game is not yet complete.

But I do have a great idea for a game - a kind of cross between Command & Conquer, and World of Warcraft. (but better than both)

As soon as I recruit someone to do the programming, graphics & music (using your forum tips) I should have "World of Conquer" done in about 6 months. (Maybe 12 months tops)

And, when I've sold my first 50,000 copies, I will fly (first class, thanks indie games buyers) to the UK to thank you personally Bob.

So, see you in 18 months!!

PS: I think there's a mistake in the URL for this post?
