Perfect timing from Lemmy and Binky. A new forum dedicated to Indie games with a side order of XNA stuff in there for good measure. Why perfect timing? Well, to tell the truth I’ve been wanting somewhere to go and talk guff at that won’t end in a philosophical discussion or bitter rants about piracy, somewhere about games and the making thereof. I like games. I want to talk about games. The Indie Stone is great.
Why Left4Dead has the best tutorial…
An old one from Offworld which I only got round to reading last week (Sorry Brandon et al, I do normally pay more attention). It’s a strikingly brilliant piece of work is the L4D intro movie and I’d never realised just how well it worked until a few weeks into the game where I suddenly realised that even from the get go, I knew precisely what everything did in the game. Glorious stuff.
