RevRant – Donations (Destructoid)

Hmm, he’s got a point and the idealist in me says “yeah, that’d be nice”. The realist in me says “not gonna happen”.

The Majesty Of Welcome Tape (RPS)

Post of the year, right there. Easily.

History of Gridrunner

From the ZX81 to the forthcoming (and glorious) Gridrunner:Revolution with your host, Jeff Minter.

BritishIndie

A quiet launch with little content so far bar an interview with PuppyGame’s Cas. Fingers crossed for more as time goes on.

H.E.R.O In Darkness (AuntiePixelante)

I’ve never quite got the fascination with H.E.R.O but perhaps my patience has been diminished by a near inexhaustible supply of remakes I’ve sat through of recent years. That said, a lovely break down and well worthy of a read.

Retro/Grade coming to PSN

I don’t get it. Not that a game comes to PSN, that’s quite easy to wrap my head around. What I don’t get is that the blurb doesn’t in the slightest bit match up to the game. It’s a fairly substandard rhythm shooter with a novelty backwards theme and it’s not really especially interesting to look at or play. However, what does fascinate me is how easy it is to get people regurgitating guff about something when it’s clear as day that there’s a disparity between blurb and reality. It’s probably harsh to single out Michael here who does some wonderful work, but it’s just the first link in my RSS reader on it (sorry!).
