If need be, yup. I’ve had the camera down to 320×240 and it’s still playable. Not recommended, but playable

i ask because i want to try it on my arcade cabinet, 640 is the max resolution of the big CRT. SYNSO2 runs great.
Hmmm, this takes a -lot- more grunt than SYNSO2 to run so it might be a little awkward. Theoretically, a decent powered rig would run it fine but I think that rules out a lot of cab users doesn’t it?
I’m thinking that before I get too far down the line on this to do anything about it, perhaps making a specific cab friendly version at the same time might be an idea. Which would have the added bonus of covering netbooks too.
It’d be a negligible amount of work but I’m quite happy that SYNSO1&2 run fine on cabs and it’d be a shame to lose that with this.
that would be awesome. i’m sure cab builders and netbook cafe people would really appreciate that.
and i’ll play it somehow anyways!
